'Jurassic World Evolution' Will Let You Build, Run a Dino Park

Jurassic Park fans will shortly take the opportunity to be the architect of their very own virtual dinosaur park.

UK-based video game developer Borderland Developments on Sunday announced it's working on a new projection: Jurassic World Evolution, a structure and direction simulation game based on the iconic Universal Pictures pic franchise. The game is slated to launch next summer on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Created in collaboration with Universal, Jurassic Globe Evolution will put players in control of operations on Isla Nublar, the fictional isle in Jurassic Park, and surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago, Borderland Developments said in a news release.

"Players will build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities," the company wrote. "Every choice leads to a dissimilar path and spectacular challenges arise when 'life finds a manner.'"

Frontier is the studio behind other simulation games including Elite Dangerous and Planet Coaster.

"We're excited to bring over fifteen years of management, simulation, and animal development expertise to a destination and franchise that remains an inspiration to us."

Meanwhile, a new Jurassic Park movie – Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom – is slated to hit theatres in June 2022. It will exist the fifth moving picture in the Jurassic Park franchise.
